Cray Systems at CSCS

CSCS currently has one Cray machine which is in operation as production system. The new Cray XT5 has been introduced to the CSCS user community at the beginning of June 2009, and has become the main production facility as of July 2009.

Rosa is a Cray XT5 with 22,128 compute cores and 29 Terabytes of memory.

Buin and Dole are also Cray XT4 systems, however they are completely dedicated to MeteoSwiss.
