Travel information
CSCS relocated to the new building on March 1st, 2012. The new center is located in downtown Lugano, in the area of Cornaredo.
Car
If you are arriving either from the South or the North, take the A2 highway and exit at Lugano Nord and follow directions for Lugano via the brandnew Tunnel Vedeggio-Cassarate. Please click on the map » for details on how to reach us. The fastest route is indicated.
Rail
Take the train to Lugano main station (FFS station). Catch Bus N° 4 (direction Canobbio) or Bus N° 6 (direction Cornaredo) from Piazzale della Stazione. Your final stop is "Stadio".

Bus
If you are in downtown Lugano, you have a few options.
Take Bus N° 3 (direction Cornaredo) and Bus N° 7 (direction Pregassona), your final stop for both is "Stadio", or Bus S (direction P+R Resega) at the central bus station in Corso Pestalozzi, your final stop is "Gerra". .

Air
Lugano airport is situated just 15 minutes away from the town centre. Flights to Lugano are available from Zurich or Geneva airport with Swiss International Airlines », Darwin Airlines » and Flybaboo ». The easiest way to reach Lugano from the airport is by shuttle bus » which guarantees regular transport between the airport and the city center of Lugano in connection with departures and arrivals between 08:00 and 18:30 (10:00 - 18:30 on Sunday).
Malpensa Airport (Milan, Italy) is 1 hour drive from Lugano. An express shuttle bus is available that directly connects Lugano main station to Malpensa Airport with just one stop at the border. Make sure you book the shuttle in advance. Go to the Malpensa Shuttle » website to view the timetable and make a reservation online.
Zurich Airport » is a 3 hour train ride from Lugano that will take you through central Switzerland and through winding tunnels to cross the Alps. Well worth the trip for rail enthusiasts. Timetable available at here.
