HPC Co-Location Services
This unit designs and operates dedicated systems for individual customer institutions and provides tailored services for these systems. The major customers are the Swiss Federal Office for Meteorology and Climatology MeteoSwiss and the Swiss Institute for Particle Physics CHIPP. In September 2012 the unit will install a new HPC Cluster for the Platform for Advanced Scientific Computing (PASC), a joined initiative between ETH Zurich and Università della Svizzera italiana.
The unit works closely with the Technology Integration in order to integrate the customized solutions in the CSCS environment in the most efficient way. As a consequence our customers benefit from latest hardware and software innovations tested thoroughly at CSCS before.
