CSCS is one of the organizing members of the new Hybrid Multicore Consortium together with Oak Ridge National Labs, Berkeley National Labs, Los Alamos National Labs and Georgia Tech University.

The consortium will explore hybrid multicore architectures as a significant, yet unrealized promise for delivering high-end production computing capabilities for the most demanding science applications.
