Recruitment Process
Once you have submitted your application, CSCS will send you a letter to acknowledge receipt. Applications are screened by the interview team on a weekly basis. Candidates that will not be retained for the shortlist are immediately notified. Please note that the short-listing process may take 4 -8 weeks.
Candidate shortlist
Once a sufficient number of candidates have been selected for the shortlist, the HR Officer will contact these candidates to set up interviews. CSCS will fund the travel and accommodation expenses for interview candidates. Where possible, travel arrangements that will allow the candidate to attend the interview and also get a brief impression of Lugano and its surroundings will be offered.
The interview
The interview team will usually consist of:
• The Head of the Unit the position has been opened for
• The HR manager
• A member of the management team if not the director
Additional people may be brought to the interview table if this is considered useful to the process.
Interviews are conducted as discussions with Q&A. Candidates will not be asked to give a presentation.
Once all shortlisted candidates have been interviewed, the team will debrief and make a final selection. Candidates will immediately be informed of the decision.
