The HPC Advisory Council and the Swiss National Supercomputing Centre will host the HPC Advisory Council Swiss Conference 2018 in Lugano, Switzerland, from April 09 - April 12, 2018.

Delve into a wide range of interests, disciplines and topics in HPC – from present day application to its future potential. Join the Centro Svizzero di Calcolo Scientifico (CSCS), HPC Advisory Council members and colleagues from around the world for invited and contributed talks and immersive tutorials at the ninth annual Swiss Conference!
 
Knowledgeable evaluations, prescriptive best practices and provocative insights, the open forum conference brings together industry experts for three days of highly interactive sessions.
 
Plus we’ve added a fourth day and welcome the HPCXXL User Group! The self-organized and sustained group is for sites with large scale installations of IBM and/or Lenovo platforms. The HPCXXL Winter Meeting will co-locate with the Swiss Conference providing members more opportunities to participate in both sessions. The Winter Meeting will be hosted by the HPCXXL Board with closed-sessions for members and their affiliates focused on sustained multi-Petascale scientific/technical computing on scalable parallel platforms and for select/invited HPCXXL partners.

HPCXXL members can register for all four days or Thursday only, additional fee applies.

  • Accommodation

    All attendees – sponsors, presenters and participants - are responsible for coordination and cost of individual/group travel, accommodations, etc.

  • Registration Fees

    All attendees and contributors must register for admittance and agree to a modest fee which includes break and lunch services throughout the conference along with a special evening outing on Tuesday, April 10 (HPC Advisory Council only or HPC Advisory Council + HPCXXL User Group) and a reception on Thursday, April 12 (HPC Advisory Council + HPCXXL User Group or HPCXXL User Group )

    The HPC Advisory Council is delighted to announce that the evening event will be held at the Birrificio di Bioggio on the evening of April 10, 2018.

    The conference dinner is traditionally a highlight in the social program of the HPC Advisory Council Conferences. Birrificio di Bioggio, known for its cozy and comfortable atmosphere, provides the perfect venue for enjoying open and friendly networking with fellow colleagues.

    Attendance at the conference dinner is included in the registration fee, but participation in the evening event must be confirmed during the registration.
    It is also possible to register an accompanying partner.

  • HPCXXL User Group Dinner on Thursday, April 12, 2018

    The HPCXXL User Group is pleased to announce that the evening event will be held at Ristorante Cantinone on April 12, 2018.
