The Swiss National Supercomputing Centre (ETH Zurich / CSCS) is pleased to announce the webinar “Interactive computing on Alps”, to be held on Tuesday, May 27, 2025, from 11:00 to 12:00 CEST.

This webinar will provide an overview of the mechanisms offered on Alps for performing interactive computing. The presentation will cover the following topics:

• Introduction to using Jupyter notebooks via JupyterHub
• Introduction to using Julia in JupyterHub, including GPU profiling
• Best practices for setting up VSCode on Alps vClusters
