The annual conference of the Platform for Advanced Scientific Computing (PASC) is a leading event for researchers in computational science and high-performance computing. From 2016, the PASC Conference will be co-sponsored by the Association for Computing Machinery’s (ACM) Special Interest Group on High Performance Computing (SIGHPC). The support from the ACM SIGHPC serves as an acknowledgement of the importance of the conference and sets well-defined standards of quality. The ACM provides the computing field's premier Digital Library and serves its members and the computing profession with leading-edge publications, conferences, and career resources.
PASC16 will be held from 8 to 10 June 2016 at the SwissTech Convention Center, located on the campus of the EPFL in Lausanne, Switzerland. PASC is currently inviting submissions for the Papers Session of its next conference. The PASC papers program is soliciting high-quality contributions in the areas of climate and weather, solid earth, life sciences, physics, computer science and mathematics, engineering, materials and emerging domains. Papers will be presented during the PASC16 Conference and available in the ACM Digital Library associated with the PASC conference series. Areas of interest include (but are not limited to) implementation strategies for computational science applications, programming languages and models for computational science, tools for application development, domain-specific libraries or frameworks, and the use of heterogeneous or state-of-the-art computing for scientific applications.
